Refund Policy
Shwaas Organization is instituting a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations as digital payments are becoming more frequent. Shwaas Organization expects that all donors will exercise due care and diligence while making donations.
Shwaas Organization also recognizes that a donation may be made erroneously or donors may change their mind. Shwaas Organization may also consider that a donation is refunded even if not requested by the donor but was essential to be refunded to ensure compliance with provisions of the LAW, as amended from time to time.
Shwaas Organization will examine each request for refund of donation and endeavours to make the refund. Shwaas Organization may also seek further information / documents and donors must co-operate in this regard.
However, Shwaas Organization is not obliged to make refunds and may, in its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.
If you would like your donation to Shwaas Organization to be refunded:
You must request Shwaas Organization in writing or by email (shwaas.org@gmail.com) for a refund and your request must reach Shwaas Organization within 7 (Seven) working days from the date on which you made the ion online.
Foreign donations may require more working days for processing the refund
The written request stating the reason for requesting the refund must be sent to the address stated below and must contain all the following details pertaining to the donation:
Date of Donation,
Donation amount,
Please provide receipt ID and transaction reference number for donations made online.
The decision to refund will be made by the finance team on review of the application. All decisions of Shwaas Organization in this regard will be final and binding on the donor.
The refund process may take time from 7 to 30 working days (Foreign donations may require more working days for processing the refund) depending on the availability of the information from third parties such as Payment gateway, banks, etc. through which the transaction is done.
